Each year in the UK, approximately 50 people are killed, and more than 5,000 injured in workplace transport accidents (www.hse.gov.uk/statistics). Most of these accidents can be avoided by taking the simple precautions which form the basis of this course. A Traffic Marshal/Banksman is the person responsible for the safe direction of vehicular traffic in/around building sites. This qualification is ideal for those seeking employment within construction, security, manufacturing, hospitality, parking enforcement and administration.
