Women in the Criminal Justice System

The 2018 Griffins Society Fellowship Programme is now open to applications.

2018 is the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, and the Fellowship is seeking applicants to contribute to practice and policy debates around women with convictions by undertaking their own pioneering research.

The Research Programme is partnered with the Institute of Criminology, Cambridge. Six Fellowships are available. Five can be on any aspect of the treatment of women in the criminal justice system. The other is offered in conjunction with the Barrow Cadbury Trust on, ‘the treatment of young adult women (aged 18 to 25, which may include those in transition between youth and adult systems).

The deadline for applications is May 31st.
