Celebrating The Forgotten Black Women Heroes Past & Present

PLIAS Resettlement (PLIAS) and The Worshipful the Mayor of Brent Cllr. Orleen Hylton today announce the Fundraising Exhibition entitled Celebrating ‘The Forgotten Black Women Heroes’ Past & Present.

PLIAS Resettlement are one of her two Mayoral charities for 2023-2024.

The exhibition will be part of Black History Month, the 75th Windrush Anniversary and, will be part of the “16 Days of Activism Against All Forms of Violence Against Women and Girls.”
This will commence on Monday, 27th November 2023 to Monday 11th December 2023 at the Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0FJ.

Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness and advocate for the elimination of violence against women and girls.
