Back on Track Brent
Help and support for young people with criminal records and young people at risk of offending to get into employment, education, training or work experience.
In 2022, PLIAS Resettlement was awarded a grant from the John Lyon’s Charity to deliver the Back on Track project.
This project aims to help and support young people with criminal records and young people at risk of offending get into employment, education, training or work experience while also providing support with other areas of their lives. Individuals receive one-to-one support on a regular basis with an ongoing structured action plan put into place to achieve and reach their desired goals.
This project provides support in areas including personal self-confidence improvement, employability training, one-to-one interview skills and techniques training, job searching online, support filling out application forms and creating, reviewing and updating personalised C. V’s. Support will be identified during an in-depth initial assessment at the beginning of the project. Bespoke action plans are reviewed to make sure each young person is on track to achieve a positive outcome.
The project aims to help and support individuals get back on track to build a better and rewarding future.
