PLIAS honours outgoing Brent Mayor Cllr. Orleen Hylton

As one of The Mayor, Cllr Orleen Hylton, The Worshipful the Mayor of the London Borough of Brent’s chosen charities for 2023/2024, PLIAS Resettlement was honoured to have representatives present at Brent’s Annual Meeting of the Council. This event marked the transition from the Former Mayor’s tenure to the appointment of the New Mayor and Deputy Mayor for 2024/2025.

On behalf of PLIAS, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mayor Cllr Orleen Hylton for her unwavering support during her mayoral term. Her dedication and efforts in raising much-needed financial support for PLIAS and her other charity have made a significant impact on our organisation and the community at large. We express our sincere gratitude for her commitment and wish her continued success in all her future endeavours.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Mayor Cllr Orleen Hylton and the Council in the year ahead, working together to create positive change and support those in need across Brent.

The Council’s Annual Meeting was attended by Norma Hoyte, Director,  Jacqueline A Hinds, Chair of the PLIAS Board of Trustees,  and Noreen Muir, Trustee, representing our organisation with pride and gratitude.
